Las Ramblas golf course opened in 1991. Its design is also the work of Pepe Gancedo who knew masterfully fit a golf course where few would have known it.
The golf course is built into a beautiful landscape of Mediterranean pines and natural rabines. It’s holes and environment fascinates many players who see in this golf course a challenge for their game. Although not very long, its rugged landscape and beautiful trees gives much to this golf course. The greens of Golf Las Ramblas are large and generous, fast and gentle slopes.
Las Rambles is a must visit on your tour of Costa Blanca, the course is a great little track, very challenging and very picturesque, carved into the mountains every hole has its own little challenges. Its very tight in areas so your game needs to be sharpe off the tees but to challenge you even more the are some severe doglegs to deal with.
You can almost guarantee you will be visiting the trees at some point and with it not being to long it’s a real thinkers course and positional play is key for a good score.
There are many fantastic holes to talk about but one that sticks out to us is the 4th a short par 5 but there is literally danger everywhere, your tee shot needs to be spot on as the fairway runs out at about 250 yards but it doesn’t just run out it drops about 100ft into a ravine which now gives you two options for your second shot, you either lay up to a very tight fairway about 50ft below you or you decide to go for it in 2 but the green is very well guarded by water, bunkers and trees. “A superb par 5 that you will always remember”
The driving range is a good size in length and has many bays with plenty of targets to aim for, they do use rubber balls however which is not ideal for the serious practiser but perfect for the warm up before the game.
The putting green is a good size with plenty of holes also a good reflection of the course conditions.
