Overview
Welcome to Villa Kamboa, a villa that really does feel like a health spa. The villa oozes relaxed ambience and you can’t help but feel that you’re on a spa retreat. Villa Kiama is built over three floors in the resort of Encosta Do Lago, in Quinta do Lago. It is just a stones throw away from the water sports at the lagoon and the beach. The villa boasts a lovely sunny outdoor pool ( 6x10m), a heated indoor pool (8x5m – included in the rate) as well as a sauna and Turkish bath (charges apply for the latter only).

The exterior
Villa Kamboa has gorgeous outdoor spaces to relax in the Algarve sunshine. The poolside area has ample space for sun loungers, while the multiple terrace areas give more places to relax and enjoy the views.
The living areas
The main living areas are on the middle floor (accessed via the main ground floor entrance hallway) and includes a large kitchen and formal dining room with sun terrace (and electric awing). From the living room you have views across Encosta Do Lago.
On the lower floor you will find the garage, indoor heated pool and leisure areas including fully equipped gymnasium, sauna and Turkish steam room (extra cost for the steam room) and access to the garden with outdoor pool. There is also a games room with table tennis and foosball table for some fun tournaments. The fully equipped gymnasium, the heated indoor pool and the sauna are all yours to enjoy!
The bedrooms
In all, Villa Kamboa has six bedrooms all with plasma TVs and en-suite bathrooms. They are comfortable rooms, with plenty of space to unwind after a busy day.
About Quinta do Lago
Quinta do Lago is considered to be one of the finest resorts in the Algarve. There are numerous facilities within the resort including cafes, restaurants – some of our favourites are Casa do Lago, Casa Velha and Gigi’s beach restaurant. The beach of Quinta do Lago sits in the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa which is a heritage protected area of lagoons and wet areas that support the local wildlife population.
The Ria Formosa also includes a narrow strip of land and a series of coastal dunes running almost parallel to the mainland, formed by peninsulas and sandy islands which serve to protect the salt marshes, channels and islets.
Quinta do Lago has created several nature trails (one which trails alongside the Sao Lorenzo golf course giving you the opportunity to get up close to the greens and fairways of this most famous course). The nature trails are flat and easily walkable and you will often see runners and cyclists enjoying exercising in the fresh air.
